Neil LaBute’s Autobahn tells 7 short stories of everyday life from the front seat of a car. Be it the medium for clandestine couplings, arguments, shelter, or ultimately transportation, the automobile is perhaps the most authentically American of spaces. From a trip to Lover’s Lane, to a drive home from rehab, to a road trip to a secluded cabin, to a rescue mission from an ex and more, this unsettling montage shows us how the confines of the car carry but also complicate relationships. Featuring many real life couples, the show will be live-streamed to you from the MMAS Blackbox Theater. To be shown at 8 p.m., April 8, 9, and 10 on the ShowTix4U streaming platform.
