DOWNLOAD PROGRAM FOR SHOW

Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd! This tale of revenge involves a gifted barber returning to London after being wrongly judged and exiled years ago. Sweeney Todd, a.k.a. Benjamin Barker, returns to make right the injustice of his past. He aligns himself with pie-maker Mrs. Lovett, who offers him a place to stay within her pie shoppe. The two become partners in crime, capitalizing on their respective professions, as they conspire against London’s corrupt legal system. The Demon Barber of Fleet Street practices his payback on many unassuming throats before ultimately cornering the pinnacle of his rage, Judge Turpin. Sondheim’s iconic musical puts into question what we lose when driven by revenge.

The Mass Arts Center no longer requires people to wear masks.
Masks are encouraged for anyone at high risk or those who have been in close contact with an infected person. We ask you not to come to the theater if you feel sick or have been in contact with a COVID-positive person. Our ticket sales are final, but you can gift your tickets to friend or family to use.
