Synopsis: Eager to settle down and get married, an eligible bachelor embarks on a fast-paced dating show, searching for “the one” in a sea of women. With wacky dates, bizarre competitions, and an array of personalities, Phil Ovimself must overcome his ego and playboy ways, and find true love. Weekly eliminations spike tension for the women contestants, all named Destiny, and lead to a catalyst of rumors, deception, and drama. With unexpected eliminations, shocking twists, hilarious personalities, and wildly catchy songs, Reality Romance explores the risks and rewards of finding love!
This is a brand new musical-comedy making its world premiere, and an exciting opportunity to be the first actor playing a role!

Callbacks will be held Wednesday, June 28th, 2023.

Preliminary Vocal Audition: Please Prepare 32 bars (or less than 2 minutes) from a Broadway Show, preferably in a style that shows personality: comedic, dramatic, cool, etc. Please provide your own sheet music that is clearly marked for the accompanist. Thank you!
Callbacks: Those attending the callbacks will be asked to sing a song from Reality Romance. You will be sent a link to hear the song, along with sheet music and background tracks to practice to. Please also be prepared to cold read selections from the libretto. Please bring form fitting athletic/dance attire to change into for the dance portion of the audition. Character heels, jazz shoes and comfortable sneakers are permitted.
