CHILDREN’S CLASSES
2023-05 Spring Recital – Academy at Mass Arts
2023 Summer Hakuna Matata
July 17-July 28
Ages 7-10
Featuring material from the Disney musical phenomenon: The Lion King, the “Hakuna Matata” class will focus on developing students’ “triple threat skills” in acting, singing, and dancing while also providing students the experience of performing in a theatrical production.
2023 Summer Can’t Stop the Feeling
July 31-Aug. 4
Ages 3-6
Featuring fun songs from the hit Dreamworks movie Trolls, the “Can’t Stop the Feeling” is a fun introduction to the world of performing arts while also providing students the opportunity to develop social and life skills!
2023 Summer King of New York
Aug. 7-Aug. 18
Ages 10+
Featuring material from the Disney Broadway Musical, Newsies, the “King of New York” class focuses on helping advanced students to further their theatrical training and working together to put on a theatrical performance.
2023 Summer Improv Short Form
July 10-July 15
Ages 10-14
Join us for a week of short form improv games and fun! Students will learn acting and stage techniques through improvised comedy and group-building exercises.

Ages 10+

2023 Summer Improv Short Form

Ages 10-14
Join us for a week of short form improv games and fun! Students will learn acting and stage techniques through improvised comedy and group-building exercises.
2023 Summer Improv Long Form
July 31-Aug. 4
Ages 15-18 or with teacher signature
In this weeklong intensive workshop, students will learn techniques of scene-building, character status, relationships, and object work as well as the long-form improv format, The Harold.
2023 February Vacation Intensive: Intro to Costume Design
Intro to Costume Design introduces students to the basics of costume design and fabrication in this 5-day intensive course, which will culminate in a mock-design of a show of their choosing. No experience necessary!
ADULT CLASSES
2023 Spring Adult Acting
Adult Acting focuses on improving theater skills, such as memory, focus, speech, and flexibility. The course is led by experienced actor, director, and teacher Beth Goldman. Join this class for a dynamic learning experience that will help improve your speech, confidence, and presence.
