Relatively Speaking is a fast-paced, hysterical farce, full of mistaken identity, deception, and confusion. Greg unexpectedly follows Ginny (his current lover) on a visit to her “parents”. He meets Philip (Ginny’s former lover) and Sheila, his delightfully unaware wife. As Ginny and Philip try to navigate the fragile situation, Greg and Sheila naively enjoy their visit despite some quite confusing conversations.
