2022 Mike Donovan Comedy – July 21

Mike Donovan Comedy Show – July 21

Mike Donovan has long been one of the most creative and funniest headliners in the country. The South Boston native works the top clubs in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and has been featured on The NESN Comedy All-Stars, ESPN’s SportsCenter, Fox’s Best Damn Sports Show Period, and the Showtime network. He was featured in the documentary When Standup Stood Out. He’s also authored a series of American history books, available at Amazon.com and at the show.

Presented by Scamps Comedy and the Mass Arts Center, the shows will be outdoors in the tent if weather permits, or may be moved indoors in case of inclement weather (or extreme heat). Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

Bryan Muenzer is very tall in stature and short in attention span so his jokes are mostly quick one liners.  His sense of humor derives from a blend of being awkwardly tall and just plain awkward. Bryan was voted New England’s Best Bar Comic in 2017 and regularly performs in Boston and New York City.

Patty Gould lives in the suburbs but was born and raised in Charlestown. As the saying goes, you can take the girl out of The Town but you can never take The Town out of the girl. She’s been making audiences laugh since 2012 with funny observations the come from her optimistic, city girl perspective. Among the top National comedians that she’s shared the stage with: Juston McKinney, Lenny Clarke, Dave Russo and Tony V.

A frequent host for comedy at the MAC, Dave Rattigan performs in top comedy venues around New England including theaters such as The Cape Cod Melody Tent, the Music Hall in Portsmouth, N.H., and The Rex in Manchester, N.H. He has been featured on Sirius Satellite Radio, regional television commercials, and co-hosts two funny and provocative podcasts: the crime ‘n grime Inside the Line: Real Stories by Real Cops and the soccer-themed Soccerheads New England. He’s appeared in independent film projects and written funny columns for the Boston GlobeChristian Science Monitor and others. He’s a regular at the prestigious Hampton Beach Comedy Festival..

The show is presented by the Mass Arts Center with Scamp Comedy Productions. Tickets are $20.
