Mass Arts Center seeks angel donors

The Mass Arts Center

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Feb. 21, 2025

MANSFIELD, Mass. ─  Have you ever considered having an arts center or theater named after you?

The Mass Arts Center is seeking Angel donors to help the arts center pay down debt and secure its future by creating an endowment to help fund its mission for generations to come. Are you that person? Or perhaps your company wishes to put its advertising dollars to work in a more philanthropic way. Then the Mass Arts Center in Mansfield is looking for you.

Founded in 1993 with just $8, the Mass Arts Center has become a thriving place for artists, musicians, actors, directors and other creative spirits. It has a long history of bringing quality art programs to the community of southeastern Massachusetts, including a full season of theater, art exhibitions, concerts, and programs through its Academy.

Founder Ken Butler is often heard asking audiences to please contact him if they would like to have a theater named after them. Now Butler says, “It’s time to find that angel donor,” stating that the organization has grown so fast since purchasing the property at 888 South Main Street.  “I truly believe the Mass Arts Center will be one of the best known places in New England, due to our location across from the Xfinity Center.”

“So, if you or your company is seeking that special way to leave a legacy to the community, a naming at the Mass Arts Center in Mansfield might be just for you,” he added.

The Mass Arts Center is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization.  If you would like to support MAC, it is holding its annual Gala at the Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro on Friday, March 14th. Tickets are available at www.massartscenter.org.
