Harvard’s beloved blonde takes the stage by glittery pink storm in this fun and upbeat adaptation of the hit film and award-winning Broadway musical presented by our Mass Arts Academy students. Tickets for this fun show will be $18 for adults; $15 for youths ages 10-17.

OUR CAST & CREW
Kate Brandolo (Cashier, Sabrina, Delta Nu) This is Kate’s second production with the Mass Arts Center. Her first was Children of Eden, Jr. last summer. Outside of MAC, Kate has performed in The Big Bad Musical, 42nd Street, and Shrek through her school’s theatre program. Outside of theatre, Kate enjoys playing the violin, soccer, and running. Kate wants to thank Dori and Esther for all of the hard work they have put into making this show come to life. Kate would also like to thank Maggie, Elie, and everyone else who has helped with Legally Blonde, Jr. Kate hopes that you enjoy the show.
Ava Canuto (Paulette) is a freshman at Sharon High School. This is Ava’s first MassArts Center show. Previous shows she has recently acted in are Newsies at Sharon High School playing the role of Mush and Seitz, SpongeBob the Musical at Sharon Middle School as Pearl Krabs, and Mean Girls at Uncommon Theatre Company as the French Teacher. She is so excited to be performing as Paulette with her beloved cast and has had a great time being a part of MassArts.
Lowie Channell (Elle Woods) OMG, you guys! Lowie Channell loves Broadway and all things musical theater. She is 13 years old, lives in Providence, and is a 7th grader at The Wheeler School. Favorite past shows include: Fun Home, Gypsy, Matilda, and Bonnie & Clyde. Being part of this cast is a dream come true – Special thank you to Dori, Maggie and Esther!
Milla Conti (Kate, Bookish Client) This is Milla’s fourth production, and her first at MassArts. Milla was previously in Annie (BFCCPS) and Beauty and the Beast (ShirleyArts!) as Broadway Star to Be and Babette, respectively.
Nora Daubert (Winthrop, Store Manager, Delta Nu) is twelve year old student at the Montrose School in Medfield. She has been a Mass Arts student for four years. Recent credits include Children of Eden Jr. (Young Able), Macbeth (MacDuff’s child), Gypsy (Ventriloquist, Young Yonkers), and Madagascar: a Musical Adventure Jr.
Ella Desfosses (Brooke Wyndham, Delta Nu) Ella began taking voice lessons with Cassola Voice Studio in 2021, where she quickly developed a passion for singing and musical theater. In addition to her studio vocal performances, Ella has performed with the Wheelock Family Theater, Easton Collaborative Theater, Triboro Youth Theater and Mass Arts Center. Most recently she starred in local productions as Eve and Jonah in Children of Eden Jr., and as Sister Sarah in Guys and Dolls Jr. Ella is looking forward to sharing a fun performance as Brooke in Legally Blonde Jr.!
Benjamin Fleming (Warner Huntington III) has been a performer since an early age, creating personalities and bringing people to life. He enjoys becoming characters both real and fictional. His quick smile and youthful joy brings life to each of his characters. He appreciates the love and support of his family and friends as he continues his journey along the theatrical road. Favorite roles for Benjamin include Crutchie in Newsies, Adam/Noah in Children of Eden Jr. (MAC), Billy in 42nd Street and Marius in Les Mis (MAC). Benjamin enjoys playing Warner in Legally Blonde Jr. as he gets to tap into an arrogant, self absorbed personality – such a fun alternate reality. A Benjamin size shout out to his cast and the directing team for this show – Thank you!
Daniel Fleming (Emmett Forrest) began early with his love of singing and being on stage, toddling around with his toy microphone. He enjoys the opportunities and challenges of bringing a persona to life on stage. He is adept and has a multifaceted perspective that helps dive into roles he has been fortunate to play. His favorite shows are the ones he is able to stretch and grow both as an actor and singer. He appreciates the love and support of his family and friends as he continues his journey along the theatrical road. Highlight roles for Daniel include Tiny Tim in Scrooge, Scar in The Lion King Jr., David in Newsies, Father in Children of Eden Jr.(MAC) and Jean Val Jean in Les Mis (MAC). Daniel enjoys playing Emmett in Legally Blonde Jr. as it aligns with his natural good nature and desire to achieve. Thank you to Dori and the creative team and cast!
Grant Geysen (Kyle, Sundeep Agrawal Padamadan) is thrilled to be part of tonight’s performance! He has appeared in numerous productions, including Beetlejuice (Otho), The Addams Family (Lucas Beineke), Tuck Everlasting (The Man in the Yellow Suit), and Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour). You can also catch him cracking up audiences as a member of our Improv Troupe and performing in this year’s production of Pippin. Grant thanks his directors, fellow castmates, and family for their support.
Rose Gillett (Gaelen, Delta Nu) This is Rose’s first show with Mass Arts Center and she is so grateful for the opportunity and the friends she has made on the way to opening night. She has previously been in over 10 shows with Triboro Youth Theater and East End Theatre. She has been directed by multiple talented people including the director for this show, Dori. She takes dance and singing lessons with Justina Mabray who helped her achieve the roles she portrays in this show.
Thea Hebert (Margot) is currently in 8th grade at the Dedham Middle School. This is Thea’s first show at the Mass Arts Center and her 29th production over all. Most recently Thea has been in Fiddler on the Roof at the Needham Community Theatre and Annie Jr. at the Dedham Middle School. Thea is very grateful to be a part of this amazing production and would like to congratulate the cast and crew for all their hard work!
Leila Houlihan (Serena/Hairdresser) This is Leila’s fifth season here at Mass Art Center. Her previous credits include, Anastasia, The Greatest Showman, Frozen, Les Miserables, The Addams Family, Little Shop of Horrors, Hadestown and Pippin. As always, Leila would like to thank Dori, Esther, Maggie, Ellie and Katie for their continued guidance, support and expertise.
Summer Jenkins (Lowell, Chutney Wyndham, Delta Nu) is 14 years old, and has been performing with this company for eight years, her first ever show being Willy Wonka! She is very excited to be playing Chutney and has been working very hard to remember all the dances and all her lines! Theatre is her favorite thing to do. She hopes to make performing her career! She recently played a Fate in Hadestown, Fan and Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, and Rhonda in Little Shop of Horrors! She can’t wait to perform Legally Blonde Jr. for her friends and family!
Oscar Lamont (Professor Callahan/Frat Boy) 14 year old Oscar is happy to be back at MAC for his second show after performing as Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol! He is happy to be in another show with his little brother Simon and grateful to have learned so much from Dori, Esther, and Maggie! He thanks his family for their support, and is sorry to his friends for all the times he couldn’t play Minecraft because of rehearsal.
Simon Lamont (Dewey/Frat Boy/Waiter) is finishing 5th grade and is excited to be back at MAC after performing as Peter Cratchit/Delivery Boy in A Christmas Carol with his family! Other past roles include Rick Donahue (The Show Must Go On) and Lt. Ward (Annie) at his school. He is grateful to be in another show with his big bro Oscar and loves working with Dori, Esther, and Maggie! Simon would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him!
Declan List (Aaron Schultz, Prison Guard) is excited to be performing in Legally Blonde Jr., one of many shows he’s been in with MAC. He’s especially excited for all the friends he’s made along the way. Past performances include Les Miserables (Gavroche), SpongeBob The Musical (ensemble), and Madagascar Jr. (Zookeeper). Declan would like to thank Katie and Ellie Ault, Dori Bryan-Ployer, and his mom and dad for encouraging him to do musical theater. I hope you enjoy the show as much as I do!
Madeline List (Pforzheimer, Judge, Delta Nu) is so excited to be back at MAC working with new and old friends. Madeline has previously been in Children of Eden Jr. (Storyteller), Tangled (Pascal), Frozen (Maid), and more. She also performs as a soloist. Whenever she has a chance, she loves to help build and paint the sets. Madeline would like to thank her family, Dori, Katie, Ellie, Maggie, Lindsey, and Esther for making her confident with her acting, singing, and dancing. Enjoy the show!
Molly Platt (Vivienne) is thrilled to be playing the role of Vivienne in Legally Blonde Jr. at the Mass Arts Center! With a decade of experience in theater and a resume of nearly 20 shows, she has developed a deep passion for the performing arts. One of her standout performances was as the lead role of MC Dog in Go, Dog. Go! at the Boston Children’s Museum, which showcased her talent and versatility. Molly is excited to bring her character to life and can’t wait to share this production with everyone!
Cora Priest (Whitney, Jet Blue Pilot, Saleswoman, Delta Nu) is in the 5th grade, plays the flute and sings in the chorus at Heights Elementary in Sharon. Previous shows at MAC – Hadestown, The Greatest Showman, Little Shop of Horrors (Plant Puppet), and The Little Mermaid (Ursula). She would like to thank her Nanna for taking her to rehearsal and always being her #1 fan.
Mia Schwehm (Enid Hoopes, Delta Nu) This is Mia’s first show with the Mass Arts Center. Mia has participated in community theater since she was 10. Some of Mia’s recent performances were Toymaker in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. and Gladys/Delores in It Happened on Route 66 with the YMCA theater program. Mia also participates in the drama community at Mansfield High School.
Julia Slavsky (Pilar, Kiki) is currently a sophomore at Sharon High School and this is her first show with the Mass Arts Center. One of her favorite productions was Mean Girls at the Uncommon Theatre and she enjoys participating in choir at her school. Julia can’t wait to perform with this amazing cast and is excited to showcase all of the cast and crews hard work!
Maggie Ault (Stage Manager) is beyond excited to make her stage management debut with Legally Blonde Jr. at Mass Arts Center! She’s had an absolute blast working alongside such a talented cast and crew and is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to learn from the best. Special thanks to her sisters Katie and Ellie for their constant love and support. A huge thank you to Dori for everything she’s done for her. She has truly taken Maggie under her wing and introduced her to a lifelong love for the theater! She is eternally grateful for all she’s taught her, and for allowing her to be a part of this incredible journey. And lastly, Maggie would like to thank the Hydroboom and Desk on Wheels for teaching her patience and perseverance. Enjoy the show!
