Dick is a true “Creative.” He’s a poet, a musician and a visual artist. His paintings include wildlife, still lifes, landscapes, seascapes, figurative, portraits, and architectural renderings. Since retiring from a 31-year teaching career teaching English, Civics and World History, Dick has had more time to devote to teaching and mentoring countless artists in the surrounding area. He is keenly aware that God-given gifts should be shared, and we will see the fruit of his ‘labor of love’ in this latest exhibition of his work and a selection of work from several of his students.
“ It is extremely rewarding to be in a position to enrich the lives of students with a craft that adds such joy and sense of accomplishment to their lives. Art is a gift to student and teacher alike.”
