About the Academy

Founded in 2015, The Academy at Mass Arts (formerly the MMAS Academy) was established under the well-documented premise that performing arts participation provides students a creative outlet that innately fosters transformative life skills.

Whether a student is participating for fun, professional training, exercise, or improved technical expertise, our degreed and dedicated faculty serves the specific interests of all participants.

Preschool, grade school students, teens, college performers, and working and retired adults join The Academy every year to study dance, theatre, and voice.

If you are starting out, revisiting training, or looking to polish your skills, The Academy has something for you! Since 2015, The Academy has grown by 300%, reflecting the popularity of our unique mission. Our tuition is intentionally kept affordable, and payment plans are available to allow more families to participate.

And thanks to The Mansfield Bank Charitable Foundation, full and partial scholarships are available to income eligible families.
