Looking for Private coaching in Voice, Dance or Acting?

The Academy at Mass Arts has plenty of affordable options to get you started! Led by trained, experienced performance professionals and theater arts educators, the Academy is offering private lessons in the following disciplines:

VOICE lessons offer interested students concentrated attention on the fundamentals of singing, including exercises that improve breath control, posture, placement, diction, interpretation, and vocal health. Students are also introduced to the beginnings of music theory. Voice students are encouraged to perform solos in The Academy’s semester-end recitals.

ACTING lessons offer interested students concentrated training in the art of acting, including: effective storytelling, speech and diction, character work, text work, interpretation, and script scoring. Acting students are encouraged to perform a monologue or scene in The Academy’s semester-end recitals.

DANCE lessons offer interested students concentrated training in the art of dance, including styles in tap, ballet, jazz, and musical theatre performance. Lessons include a warm-up period, across the floor drills, choreographed combinations, and somatic storytelling. Dance students are encouraged to perform a routine in their style of choice in The Academy’s semester-end recitals.

Pricing

Effective Sept. 1, 2024

The Mass Arts Academy offers two terms of private lessons in classes that are 30, 45 and 60 minutes. Our semester terms are as follows:

FALL: Enrollment held Aug. 1-Sept. 30th
SPRING: Enrollment held Dec. 1-Jan. 30th

• 30-minute lessons ($600/term, 12 lessons)
• 45-minute lessons ($900/term, 12 lessons)
• 60-minute lessons ($1200/term, 12 lessons)

• 30-minute lessons ($780/term, 12 lessons)
• 45-minute lessons ($1140/term, 12 lessons)
• 60-minute lessons ($1440/term, 12 lessons)

Semi-Private Lessons with Academy Director

• 30-minute lessons ($480/term/student, 12 lessons)
• 45-minute lessons ($720/term/student, 12 lessons)
• 60-minute lessons ($840/term/student, 12 lessons)

Cancellation Policy:
