Brad Mastrangelo Comedy Show – Feb. 5

Brad Mastrangelo is one of the most popular headliners in New England. He has performed on Comedy Central and Denis Leary’s prestigious Comics Come Home concert, and been a contributing writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Also playing at top comedy clubs nationwide, he has shared the stage with comic luminaries such as Kevin James, Ray Romano, and the legendary Pat Cooper. The Boston Globe’s Steve Morse wrote, “(his) street smart humor makes everybody in the audience feel like they grew up next door to him.”

Boston comedian Liam McGurk is a former winner of the “Funniest Person in Massachusetts Contest,” known for his laid-back demeanor and cerebral, creative material. He has performed at Thunderfest, the Cape Fear Comedy Festival and Rogue Island Comedy Festival. He’s a former Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio in Somerville, and a favorite in Boston showcases. He describes himself as a gentle man with the temperament of a small purebred dog. That is, he’s initially standoffish due to anxiety, but warms up once he’s been fed and petted.

Mike Karsok and Born are young Boston based comics making an impression on the scene. They are both strong writers and unique performers.

Dave Rattigan is one of the busiest comedians in Boston. He’s currently co-host of two podcasts, the crime ‘n grime-focused Inside The Line: Real Stories by Real Cops and Soccerheads New England. His CD has been played on Sirius Satellite Radio, and he’s performed on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show. He’s done regional commercials for Olympia Sports and iParty, and performed in Dublin and Kilkenny, Ireland and in Boston with Irish comedians Ardal O’Hanlon and Joe Rooney. He’s performed at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival (NH), Boston Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, and Salem Comedy and Spirits Festival, and shared the stage with Bill Burr, Jeff Dunham, the Beach Boys, Steven Wright, Bob Marley, Nick DiPaolo and more. He also runs Scamps Comedy Productions, which produces live comedy shows. 

The show is presented by the Mass Arts Center with Scamp Comedy Productions. Tickets are $25.
